Dallas Cowboys

Collins says he wanted to be a Cowboy. La'el Collins signed with the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, ending a turbulent week for the undrafted free agent. He said he had the opportunity to choose between 32 teams, but wanted to be a Cowboy.

Jerry Jones advocates for McFadden. The Dallas Cowboys' decision not to select a running back in the 2015 NFL draft surprised many fans and analysts alike. However, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Darren McFadden's presence was a major reason why the team didn't opt to take another back.

Haley raves about Randy Gregory. Hall of Fame-elect Charles Haley was an enigmatic defensive end who helped steer the Cowboys to three Super Bowls in four years. Haley likely saw a number of similarities in the Cowboys' second-round pick Randy Gregory and raved about his ability.

Philadelphia Eagles

Bullied boy spends day with Eagles. A 10-year-old cancer survivor who spoke out after being bullied was all smiles Wednesday after spending the day with the entire Eagles team.

McCoy blasts Kelly over getting rid of 'all the good black players'. Former Eagles star LeSean McCoy delivered a scathing review of Eagles head coach Chip Kelly, stating that he got rid of 'all the good black players.' McCoy was traded to the Buffalo Bills in March.

Intense rookie testing begins. The Eagles' first-year players will assemble at the NovaCare Complex on Friday for the start of an intense three-day rookie camp.

New York Giants

Giants terminate Ogletree's contract. The New York Giants terminated wide receiver Kevin Ogletree's contract Thursday. Ogletree recorded five catches for 50 yards in 2014.

Beckham Jr. named Madden 16 finalist. After an outstanding rookie season, Odell Beckham Jr. is one of four finalists for the Madden 16 cover. The other three finalists include Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, and Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson.

Flowers and father celebrate draft together. Ereck Flowers' mother died when he was six, leaving his father Everald to raise him alone. ESPN's Dan Graziano details the strong father-son bond as the former Miami product heads to New York.

Washington Redskins

McCloughan defends decision to draft Scherff. Brandon Scherff was selected fifth overall by the Redskins, even with defensive end Leonard Williams still available. Redskins general manager Scot McCloughan defended the decision to select the offensive tackle.

Former Redskins TE Davis reinstated. Former Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis was reinstated by the NFL on Thursday. Davis was booted from the league in February 2014 after a second substance abuse violation.

Redskins release Rice Jr. Although he's a big name, the Redskins decided Jerry Rice Jr. wasn't worth keeping on the roster, releasing him Monday. Rice Jr. is the son of 49ers legend Jerry Rice.
