Eagles lock up 1st-round pick Nelson Agholor with 4-year deal

The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to terms with first-round pick Nelson Agholor on a four-year deal.

Based on the former USC wideout's draft slot, the deal should be in the range of $9.4 million with a signing bonus of $5.1 million. It will also include a fifth-year option.

Agholor will help replace the production of the last receiver the Eagles drafted in the first round, Jeremy Maclin. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound rookie doesn't necessarily project as a prototypical No. 1 wideout but is considered by most analysts to be a good fit for head coach Chip Kelly's unique offensive scheme.
