Houston head coach Bill O'Brien feels "really good about the corner position" after the organization selected Johnson in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft, the Texans' official site reports. "We have two really good veteran corners in Johnathan [Joseph] and Kareem [Jackson] that he can learn behind," said O'Brien.

Analysis:

Johnson will be given an opportunity to compete for a starting job, but it's more likely we see the incumbent Joseph and Jackson atop the depth chart at corner. He could emerge as the third corner, a position that has grown in importance in the pass-happy NFL.
