Analysis:
Oregon State hasn't had an encouraging recent history with its defensive backs, with the likes of Jordan Poyer, Rashaad Reynolds, James Dockery and Brandon Hardin representing the Beavers, but Nelson has steadily received praise for his motor and physicality. When you throw in solid workout numbers at 5-foot-10, 197 pounds, it's easy to see why Nelson is a likable prospect. He'll push for nickel snaps in Kansas City.
