New York Giants have picks in 5th, 6th and 7th rounds on Sat

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) The New York Giants have filled two major needs on the first two days of the NFL draft and they will probably use their final three picks to take talent more than need.

Coming into the draft, the Giants' biggest needs were on the offensive line and at safety. They grabbed Miami offensive tackle Ereck Flowers in the first round Thursday and made a major move Friday, trading up to the top spot in the second round to select Alabama safety Landon Collins.

New York sent its second, fourth and second seventh-round picks to the Titans in the deal, so they will have picks in the fifth, sixth and seventh rounds Saturday.

They still need an inside linebacker but in those rounds, teams tend to take the best available player. New York seemed to also do that in the third round Friday, selecting Awamagbe Odigizuwa (Oh-wah-MAH-bay Oh-Diggy-zoo-wah), an athletic UCLA defensive end who still has a lot to learn.
