Shane Ray's draft stock may take a tumble.

The pass-rusher from Missouri was cited for Marijuana possession in Kansas City on Monday morning, according to Brandon Kiley of KTGR Sports Wire.

Tod Palmer of the Kansas City Star added additional details on the incident that included a traffic stop when Ray was allegedly speeding.

Ray issued a statement late Monday night.

Ray was a lock to go in the first round and some prognosticators feel he could go in the top 10 after a 14.5-sack season at Missouri. Things may change now for the edge-rusher, though, after this latest news and a recent injury scare.

A toe injury limited Ray to only the bench press at the combine and there has reportedly been some debate recently by NFL teams over whether or not the injury will require surgery.

Given the concerns over Ray's health and the proximity to the draft, the timing of this news couldn't be worse.
