The Philadelphia Eagles have rescinded their restricted free-agent tender to running back Chris Polk, ending his three-year tenure with the team, Geoff Mosher of CSNPhilly.com reports.

Polk had yet to sign his $1.542-million qualifying offer, and as a result was not permitted to report to the Eagles' offseason program. He became expendable after Philadelphia signed running backs DeMarco Murray and Ryan Mathews.

The 25-year-old appeared in 36 games as an Eagle, rushing for 270 yards and seven touchdowns on 57 carries.
