Houston Texans

Watt shakes butt at Rockets playoff game. The Defensive Player of the Year, J.J. Watt, was in attendance at the Houston Rockets first-round win over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday. He celebrated the win by dancing.

'Reps' are a key for incoming WR Shorts. New Texans receiver Cecil Shorts has been spending time getting on the same page as quarterbacks Ryan Mallett and Brian Hoyer this offseason, and says the more reps he gets the better.

Hopkins avoiding the Andre Johnson subject. When asked how he feels about becoming the presumptive new No. 1 receiver in Houston, DeAndre Hopkins offered a "No comment".

Indianapolis Colts

Colts rookie Carter knows he's on his last chance. Former CFLer Duron Carter is looking to make an impact after immaturity cost him in college. He'll need to be perfect to overcome his spot on the depth chart.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Jones-Drew coming home to retire. Jaguar great Maurice Jones-Drew will sign with the team in order to retire in Jacksonville after a brilliant eight-year run with the team.

Marks on track to play in season opener. Doing well in his rehab from a torn ACL, big defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks is eyeing Week 1 to make his return. He should be able to play during training camp.

Bradley sidesteps Peterson trade rumors. Talk has persisted that the Jags are interested in trading for 30-year-old former All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson, but head coach Gus Bradley threw cold water on that this week.

Tennessee Titans

Titans planning to exercise 5th-year option on Wright. The team will have until May 3 to do so, but it looks like 2012 first-round pick Kendall Wright will be in Nashville through 2016.

Whisenhunt talks 2nd-overall selection. Coach Ken Whisenhunt runs down some scenarios the Titans could look at with the second overall pick in April's draft.

Bell not a lock at starting right tackle. Newly signed offensive tackle Byron Bell will have a shot to win the starting job in training camp, but is not the only option the Titans have at the spot.
