Strengths

  • Former receiver understands route concepts well. Instincts give him an advantage in coverage.
  • Coverage skills are excellent, with 12 pass defenses and two interceptions in his junior season.
  • Speed is ideal for a cover corner. Agility and athleticism are on display often and he recovers when he does get beat.

Weaknesses

  • Not a factor in run support. Lacks willingness and drive in that aspect of the game. Doesn't get off blocks like most NFLers can.
  • Small frame and lack of demonstrative competitiveness could be an issue at the next level.
  • Has multiple suspensions early in college. Made a position change in his sophomore season. Still learning finer points of tackling.
