Jaguars' Gus Bradley throws cold water on Adrian Peterson trade rumors

The Minnesota Vikings may ultimately decide to shop Adrian Peterson on the trade market, but don't expect the Jacksonville Jaguars to jump into the mix.

Despite rumors suggesting the team is interested in acquiring the 30-year-old tailback, Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley said his team discussed the idea but quickly decided it was not interested in such a move.

"No, not really," Bradley said, according to The Florida Times-Union. "A while ago, but it was just conversation, not any direction that we would go."

The Jaguars see themselves as a team on the rise, but they aren't Super Bowl contenders. Trading a premium draft pick for a running back on the wrong side of 30 - even one who rushed for 2,000 yards only three seasons ago - would be ill-advised.
