Report: Adrian Wilson expected to announce retirement Monday

Adrian Wilson is apparently calling it a career.

The free-agent safety will be holding a press conference with the Arizona Cardinals on Monday to announce his retirement, according to Kent Somers of azcentral.com.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network added that Wilson could possibly be joining Arizona's coaching staff.

Wilson played every snap of his 12-year career with the Cardinals. He signed with the New England Patriots in 2013, but an Achilles injury ended his season in training camp. He failed to crack the Chicago Bears' roster last season.

Somers also notes that Wilson is likely headed for the Cards' ring of honor, and it's well deserved. He compiled 27 interceptions and made five Pro Bowls with Arizona, in addition to being a three-time All Pro.
