Cardinals' Jaron Brown hoping to be ready for OTAs

Matt Kartozian / USA TODAY Sports

Jaron Brown's sophomore season with the Arizona Cardinals came to an abrupt end.

But after suffering a fractured scapula against the Carolina Panthers in the playoffs, he is nearing a return to the field.

"I hope to be full speed (for OTAs)," Brown told the team's website

After catching a pair of touchdowns in 2014 and contributing well on special teams, Brown is counting on hard work to help him progress on the field in 2015.

"I’m just here trying to get on the field and have fun, to be honest," Brown said. "Hopefully whatever comes, through hard work, it’ll come."

Brown is the fourth option in Arizona's passing game, and if he can take another step forward this season, it could give the Cards one of the deepest receiving corps in the league.
