NFC South Notebook: Falcons' new stadium expected to cost $1.5B; Lewis changes number

Carolina Panthers

Panthers to host draft party. The Carolina Panthers will host a draft party for their fans in Charlotte. Admission is free and there are activities for adults and children alike. 

Benwikere moves to nickel cornerback. With the signing of Charles Tillman, ESPN explores Bene Benwikere's new role in the secondary. 

Atlanta Falcons 

New stadium expected to cost $1.5 billion. The Falcons are in the process of finding a new stadium and Falcons owner Arthur Blank said the expected cost is around $1.5 billion

Hawley enters camp with something to prove. After tearing his ACL in Week 4, Joe Hawley had to watch the rest of the Falcons' season from the sideline. Hawley said he has something to prove entering the 2015 campaign.

Worrilow adjusting to Quinn's new methods. Paul Worrilow said that he's working on his mobility and said that new head coach Dan Quinn has made a number of changes, such as embracing rugby-style tackling.

New Orleans Saints 

Lewis switches number to 21. Saints cornerback Keenan Lewis has changed his jersey number from 28 to 21, so C.J. Spiller can wear 28. Lewis said earlier that he'll compensate fans for new jerseys if they provide the original receipt. 

Polian believes Saints will trade up. Former Colts general manager Bill Polian believes the Saints will trade up in the draft for a higher pick. New Orleans acquired the 31st overall selection after trading Jimmy Graham to the Seattle Seahawks and also hold the 13th overall pick. 

Spencer could be bargain for Saints. Linebacker Anthony Spencer signed with the Saints last week and ESPN analyzes how it could be a bargain for the franchise. 

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Buccaneers acquire Johnson in trade with Lions. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers acquired George Johnson in a trade with the Detroit Lions. Detroit had filed a grievance earlier over whether Johnson had signed an offer sheet or not. 

Alstott impressed by Winston. Jameis Winston is widely speculated to be the likely first overall pick in the upcoming NFL draft and former Buccaneers fullback Mike Alstott said he was sufficiently impressed by the former Heisman Trophy winner.

Mariota, Winston impress on Wonderlic. The Wonderlic test is designed to measure a player's football intelligence and aptitude. Good news for the Buccaneers: top prospects Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota both posted excellent scores
