Free agent cornerback Zack Bowman visiting Miami Dolphins
DAVIE, Fla. (AP) Free agent cornerback Zack Bowman has signed a contract with the Miami Dolphins, who are trying to fill the starting spot opposite Pro Bowl cornerback Brent Grimes.
Bowman is a seven-year veteran who started seven games for the Bears in 2013 and five games for the Giants last year. A fifth-round pick by the Bears in 2008, he has 28 starts and 12 interceptions.
The Dolphins need to replace starting cornerback Cortland Finnegan, who retired. Veterans Jamar Taylor and Will Davis are also expected to compete for the job.
