Continuing to weigh their options for adding to the defensive backfield, the Miami Dolphins are meeting with free-agent cornerback Zack Bowman on Monday, according to James Walker of ESPN.

Bowman, 30, spent the first six seasons of his NFL career with the Chicago Bears before joining the New York Giants for the 2014 campaign.

Primarily a backup player at both stops, Bowman is likely being evaluated as such in Miami, but he does bring some starting experience as well.

Bowman was active in all 16 games for the Giants this past season, starting in five and recording two interceptions.
