Making a much-needed depth addition at tight end, the Denver Broncos agreed to terms on a one-year deal with veteran James Casey on Saturday.

Now six years into his NFL career, having spent the first four of which with the Houston Texans under new Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak, Casey gives Denver's offense both a strong in-line blocker and capable receiver.

Though the past two seasons spent with the Philadelphia Eagles saw him post some underwhelming numbers, reuniting with Kubiak should see Casey utilized in a way that best suits his skill set.

The Broncos, of course, lost some significant production at tight end with the departure of Julius Thomas in free agency, but Casey now joining Virgil Green and Owen Daniels gives the position an intriguing combination of veteran talent.
