Strengths

  • Demonstrates the necessary closing speed and sure tackling to chase down ball-carriers and make plays in the open field.
  • Can contribute in both run defense and pass coverage, potentially making him an every-down off-ball linebacker at the next level.
  • Explosiveness and effort could make him an effective blitzer in passing situations.

Weaknesses

  • Too many wasted movements in the running game, appearing somewhat indecisive when trying to locate the ball and make a play between the tackles.
  • Makes plenty of splash plays against the run, but also gets blocked out on his fair share of snaps.
  • Refined technique would allow him to better use his strength and toughness at the point of attack.
