Browns trade up to grab DT Xavier Cooper in 3rd round

The Cleveland Browns traded back into the third round to select defensive tackle Xavier Cooper out of Washington State.

The Browns surrendered picks 111, 147 and 202 to the New England Patriots for picks 96 and 219.

Cooper is the third Pac-12 defensive lineman to join the Browns in this draft, following Danny Shelton and Nate Orchard.
