Analysis:
While owners typically don't (or shouldn't) have much say in these matters, Bisciotti seems to have a pretty good feel for his team. The Ravens hope Dennis Pitta (hip) can return from an injury that's potentially career-ending, but with Pitta more of a receiving specialist anyway, Gillmore should see plenty of time on the field. Be it Pitta or a draft pick, the Ravens will likely have a quicker complement to Gillmore, who did flash decent receiving skills as a rookie. There's still not much upside to be had here, unless the Ravens completely whiff at tight end with Pitta, free agency and the draft.
