The Kansas City Chiefs have met with wide receiver Brandon Tate, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

Tate caught just 17 passes in 2014, but has value on special teams as a kick returner.

After being drafted in the third round of the 2009 draft by the New England Patriots, Tate was jettisoned by the team and has spent the past four seasons with the Bengals.
