Saints' Brian Dixon arrested in Miami; accused cops of racial bias

New Orleans Saints cornerback Brian Dixon was arrested Sunday morning in Miami Beach for resisting arrest without violence, according to Nick Underhill of the New Orleans Advocate.

Dixon was pulled over while riding a moped and was taken into custody after questioning the officer.

According to the police report, Dixon accused the arresting officers of racial bias and asked for his agent to be contacted.

"Let me go," Dixon said. according to the report. "You're just doing this because I'm a black man with dreads and I look like a criminal. I'm not a criminal."

The Saints are aware of Dixon's arrest and are reporting to NFL security, ESPN's Mike Triplett reports.

Dixon was active for all 16 regular season games after joining the Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2014, recording 18 total tackles.
