New England Patriots

Patriots' trick formation now illegal. The NFL passed a rule Wednesday that receivers who report as ineligible will no longer be able to line up outside the tackle box as an eligible receiver otherwise would. 

"Deflategate" rolls on. Two months have passed since the NFL launched its investigation into allegations that the Patriots deflated footballs in the AFC Championship Game, and commissioner Roger Goodell gave little indication of when a resolution can be expected.

Players in line for bigger roles. Mike Dussault of Athlon Sports looks at three players who could be thrust into bigger roles in 2015.

Buffalo Bills

Bills to erect Ralph C. Wilson Jr. statue. The Bills announced plans Wednesday to erect a bronze statue of Wilson near the northwest corner of Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Clay sold on Buffalo. Charles Clay knew Buffalo was the place for him before he even landed in the city for his free-agent visit.

Blackout suspension could be good for Bills fans. Buffalo fans have even more reasons to look forward to the 2015 season following the NFL's decision to suspend blackouts, writes Chris Sciria of the Auburn Citizen.

Miami Dolphins

Dolphins reject Suh's dirty label. Dolphins owner Stephen Ross dismissed talk of Ndamukong Suh being one of the NFL's dirtiest players.

More receiver changes to come. Miami made some big changes at the receiver position this offseason, but there are several more moves on the way.

Philbin pleased with Tannehill's development. Head coach Joe Philbin is excited about what's ahead for quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

New York Jets

Jets rank No. 1 in CB salaries. The Jets have committed a league-high $32.56 million to the cornerback position.

What Gilchrist brings to the table. Randy Lange of NewYorkJets.com thinks recently signed safety Marcus Gilchrist could be a diamond in the secondary rough for the Jets.
