Cardinals sign Ifeanyi Momah to 1-year deal

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports / Reuters

The Arizona Cardinals signed free-agent tight end Ifeanyi Momah to a one-year contract Wednesday.

An undrafted free agent from the 2013 class, Momah is now the second player to sign with the Cardinals that worked out at the veteran combine this past weekend.

Though he's spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns throughout his two seasons as a pro, the 25-year-old has yet to appear in a regular season game.

With intriguing size and physical ability at 6-foot-7 and 248 pounds, however, he should have an opportunity to compete for a roster spot with the Cardinals heading into the 2015 campaign.
