The Chargers have no plans to deal Rivers (back), NFL.com reports.

Analysis:

Rivers, who is slated to enter the final year of his contract, plans to play out his current deal, but the Chargers have no plans to deal the 33-year-old signal-caller. "It's not even on our radar," GM Tom Telesco insisted on Monday. This coming season, Rivers -- who is coming off a 2014 campaign in which he racked up 4,286 passing yards to go along with 31 TDs and 18 picks -- is in line to helm a San Diego passing offense that bid adieu to slot man Eddie Royal, but added Stevie Johnson in free agency. Meanwhile, the team's RB corps remains a work in progress, following the free agent departure of Ryan Mathews.
