The Tampa Bay Buccaneers front office appears to have the support of ownership  to draft either Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota.

According to a report in the Tampa Bay Times, Buccaneers co-chairman Joel Glazer has confidence in coach Lovie Smith and general manager Jason Licht making the right decision come draft day - a decision that could be either quarterbacks Winston or Mariota - with both having the approval of Glazer.

"With anybody we're looking to draft, we do an extensive amount of work on their background, history and all that," Glazer told the newspaper. "We spent time with Jameis and Marcus and went into everything into their background. After everything we've done and where we're at right now, we're comfortable where Jameis is at, we're comfortable with Marcus or whoever else it could be."

The Bucs finished last season with a 2-14 record. The last time the team held the No. 1 overall selection they picked quarterback Vinny Testaverde in the 1987 draft.
