Report: Jets file tampering charges against Patriots over Kraft's comments on Revis

The New York Jets and New England Patriots just can't get along.

New York filed tampering charges against New England over comments Robert Kraft made regarding the Darrelle Revis signing, according to Pro Football Talk.

Kraft spoke out on a number of topics at the owners meetings Monday, including losing Revis to a division rival.

It's hard to imagine how anything Kraft said would constitute tampering, but the Patriots accused the Jets of doing something similar in December.

Jets owner Woody Johnson indicated he would love to get Revis, then a member of the Patriots, back, and New England filed tampering charges against New York a few weeks later.

The league's tampering policy states, "Any public or private statement of interest, qualified or unqualified, in another club's player to that player's agent or representative, or to a member of the news media, is a violation of the Anti-Tampering Policy."

This all sounds petty from both sides. Nevertheless, it's going to be fun watching the Jets and Patriots square off twice in 2015.
