Free-agent linebacker Mason Foster has joined the Chicago Bears.
The fifth-year pro reached a one-year deal with the club on Wednesday.
Foster tweeted out a photo of his son Rylan Kash sporting a Bears bib with the hashtag #HeAlwaysKnew.
The linebacker also tweeted at recent Bears signee Jarvis Jenkins, appearing to confirm his move to Chicago. Bears guard Kyle Long co-signed the news, posting a number of flexing emojis.
Foster will contend for the Bears' starting middle linebacker job, after spending the first four years of his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
