Despite suffering a torn ACL in early December, Delmas received a one-year, $3.5 million contract from the Dolphins. The team is clearly confident that the veteran safety will be ready by Week 1, with that sentiment echoed by Delmas himself. Still, it's best not to assume he will be ready, given that he'll be just 10 months removed from the injury. If healthy, he figures to start at free safety again.
