The Chicago Bears have agreed to terms with free-agent defensive end Jarvis Jenkins on a one-year contract.
Jenkins had spent his entire four-year NFL career with the Washington Redskins to this point, appearing in 44 games and making 33 starts after joining the team as a second-round draft selection in 2011.
The 26-year-old should play the defensive end spot in Chicago's 3-4 front, as he did throughout his time in Washington, having the opportunity to compete for consistent snaps.
