Chip Kelly may not be done making big roster moves.

The Philadelphia Eagles could release left guard Evan Mathis if they can't trade him, according to Geoff Mosher of CSNPhilly.

He has reportedly been on the trade block for a couple of weeks now and the Eagles would still prefer to deal him.

Mathis was named to the Pro Bowl in each of the last two seasons and has established himself as one of the best run blockers in the game, but Kelly appears intent on getting younger and saving money.

Mathis has reportedly contacted the Eagles twice over the last two years about a salary increase.

The Eagles would save more than $11 million over the next two campaigns if they cut Mathis.
