Brandon Carr may leave the Dallas Cowboys no choice but to make him a cap casualty.

Carr reportedly has no interest in taking a pay cut, according to Clarence Hill of the Star-Telegram.

The cornerback is scheduled to make $8 million this season and the Cowboys would probably like to keep him, albeit at a cheaper price. Morris Claiborne may not be ready to start the year because of a knee injury, so having Carr around would be beneficial.

Dallas also claimed corner Corey White off waivers recently to add some depth to its secondary.

Carr failed to record an interception last season, after totaling six in the previous two campaigns.
