The San Francisco 49ers are bringing free-agent linebacker Erin Henderson in for a visit, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson.

Henderson was released by the Minnesota Vikings in February 2013 following a pair of DWI arrests in less than a year. He received a four-game suspension from the NFL and spent last season out of the league.

The 49ers are in need of a linebacker after losing Patrick Willis and Chris Borland to retirement. They may not be the only team interested in Henderson, though. Anderson reports that Henderson held a private workout for teams in in Arizona on Sunday before the veteran combine.

The 28-year-old has 288 tackles, 8.5 sacks and two interceptions in 65 career games.
