Report: Browns front-runners to appear on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'

All eyes could be on the Cleveland Browns very soon.

The Browns are the front-runners to appear on HBO's "Hard Knocks" this season, according to Vic Carucci of The Buffalo News.

Cleveland would have no shortage of storylines for fans to follow. Josh Gordon was recently suspended for the 2015 season and Johnny Manziel is currently in rehab. Seeing how Johnny Football transitions into year two would be must-see TV.

Only teams that have reached the postseason in each of the past two seasons or that have a first-year head coach do not have to appear on the show if they so choose.

The Browns, as well as the New York GiantsWashington RedskinsMinnesota VikingsSt. Louis RamsTampa Bay BuccaneersHouston TexansJacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans are all eligible.

Of course, things can always change. If Adrian Peterson remains with the Vikings or the Bucs select Jameis Winston first overall, those teams suddenly become very intriguing.
