The popular question around the NFL is not if football will return to the city of Los Angeles, but when.

New York Giants owner John Mara thinks it will be a reality by next season.

The three candidates that may head to the City of Angels are the St. Louis Rams, San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders, who are all trying to secure plans for new stadiums.

All three organizations are already looking into plans for a move to Los Angeles if things don't work out in their current cities. The Chargers and Raiders have proposed a joint stadium plan for Carson, California and Rams owner Stan Kroenke is also eyeing a Los Angeles stadium that would house two teams.
