Report: LSU's Jalen Collins underwent foot surgery

Jalen Collins underwent foot surgery Thursday, but will be ready for NFL mini-camps, according to NFL.com's Gil Brandt.
Collins is considered by many to be one of the top cornerbacks available in the upcoming 2015 NFL Draft, with some projecting the 22-year-old as a possible first-round selection.
The former LSU standout ran a 4.43 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine, impressing scouts in attendance. As a result of the surgery, Collins will not participate in LSU's Pro Day on March 27.
