AFC West Notebook: Manning works out with McIlroy; Richardson expects to start

Denver Broncos

Broncos break down March Madness brackets. Denver Broncos players are heavily invested in the results of the March Madness tournament, and analyzed their brackets on the team's official website

Manning works out with McIlroy. Peyton Manning worked out at Augusta National Golf Club, where he ran into none other than the world's No. 1-ranked golfer, Rory McIlroy, last Friday. 

Broncos sign Walker. The Broncos agreed to terms with linebacker Reggie Walker, who spent last season with the San Diego Chargers. 

Kansas City Chiefs

Chiefs suggest expanded replay review: A number of teams submitted proposals to the league for rule reform, including the Chiefs' idea to allow officials to look at more plays under the review system.

Caesars voids deal with Chiefs. Caesars Entertainment went bankrupt, and is now allowed to void a contract with the Chiefs that had the entertainment company paying $12,000 for suites at home games. 

Dorsey plans to stay active in offseason: The Chiefs made a number of moves in the offseason, but general manager John Dorsey plans to continue making personnel adjustments well into the spring.

San Diego Chargers

Is Johnson done? Stevie Johnson signed with the San Diego Chargers, and Numberfire.com examined whether the wide receiver has anything left in the proverbial tank. 

Robinson lands with Chargers. Patrick Robinson signed with the Chargers, adding to the team's cornerback depth. Robinson spent the first five years of his career with the New Orleans Saints. 

Verrett ahead of schedule in rehab. Jason Verrett tore labrums in both shoulders, ending his rookie campaign. Good news for Chargers fans, though: Verrett is ahead of schedule in rehab, according to general manager Tom Telesco. 

Oakland Raiders

Richardson expects to start. Trent Richardson signed with the Oakland Raiders after two disastrous campaigns with the Indianapolis Colts. Not lacking confidence, Richardson said he expects to be a starter with the Raiders. 

Is Richardson worth it? Richardson's signing was considered by some to be a low-risk, high-reward proposition. Numberfire.com broke down whether the Richardson deal was worth it for the Raiders. 

Oakland could get $1-billion stadium: Oakland City Council will vote on a project Friday that could lead to a $1-billion stadium development. The Raiders are in desperate need of a new building, and have been rumored to be moving to Los Angeles.
