The San Diego Chargers have signed cornerback Patrick Robinson to a one-year contract.
It's a $3-million deal, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Robinson has spent his entire five-year career with the Saints to this point, making 33 starts in 58 games and tallying nine interceptions.
Joining a starting group that includes Brandon Flowers and Jason Verrett, Robinson should help the Chargers field a strong nickel package of cornerbacks and once again perform as one of the NFL's top pass defenses.
