Arizona Cardinals cornerback Antonio Cromartie is reportedly seeking a multi-year deal entering free agency, although the club wants him back on a one-year contract, according to FOX Sports' Mike Jurecki.
Cromartie was the best player in the Cardinals' secondary, outplaying his more heralded teammate Patrick Peterson throughout the 2014 campaign.
Starting in all 16 games, Cromartie recorded 48 tackles and three interceptions.
If Arizona and Cromartie can't reach a one-year contract, he'll test free agency and likely have a number of suitors.
The 30-year-old has been strongly linked to the New York Jets, with whom former Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles recently accepted the head-coaching position.
