Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill has 'cleared the air' with Mike Wallace

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill and temperamental wide receiver Mike Wallace have cleared the air since the end of the season, Tannehill told Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald.

"There's no problem here," Tannehill said. "I like Mike, I've spoken to him, yes. It was great."

The Dolphins benched Wallace for the last half of their final game in 2014 after he openly complained about his usage. His future with the team has since been in doubt.

Owner Steve Ross was non-committal in January on whether Wallace would be back in 2015, saying: "I don’t think anybody really knows."

Tannehill, for his part, is focusing on his job and not on why the Dolphins are purging so much of their roster, particularly wide receivers Brian Hartline and Brandon Gibson.

"I just work on what I can do," Tannehill said. "I think the front office is doing a good job of evaluating the team and trying to put the best team on the field."
