The Indianapolis Colts are the rare playoff team with plenty of cap space entering free agency and punter Pat McAfee hopes his team swings for the fences.

McAfee tried to recruit Detroit Lions star defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson to the Colts via Twitter.

Indianapolis was a mere eight degrees Fahrenheit warmer than Detroit on Tuesday, but it didn't stop McAfee to use weather as a tactic. Suh was not franchise-tagged by the Lions and will be the most sought-after defensive free agent on the market.

The Colts' punter tried a different tactic to recruit Johnson, who wants out of Houston after spending the entirety of his 12-year-career with the Texans.

McAfee tried to sweeten the pot for his AFC South rival, luring him with baked goods.

Indianapolis has over $41 million in cap space per overthecap.com's data, the sixth-highest total in the NFL.

The Colts have the most salary-cap room out of all 2014 playoff teams.
