Report: Contract talks between Redskins, Brian Orakpo not going well

The Washington Redskins appear to have hit a roadblock in their contract negotiations with linebacker Brian Orakpo.

The two sides reportedly met at the NFL Scouting Combine to discuss a long-term deal, but according to Dianna Marie Russini of NBC4, talks are not going well.

Russini also confirms an earlier report by Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio that the Atlanta Falcons have shown interest in Orakpo. The Jacksonville Jaguars are also very interested in the 28-year-old, according to Russini.

Orakpo was limited to seven games last season because of a torn pectoral muscle, but shouldn't have a problem finding potential suitors on the open market if he's unable to work out a deal with Washington.
