Browns pass on tagging Jordan Cameron

Whoever is starting at quarterback for the Cleveland Browns next season could have a major shortage of offensive weapons.

The Browns opted not to apply the franchise tag on tight end Jordan Cameron, according to multiple reports.

Josh Gordon is suspended for 2015, and not having Cameron would be a huge blow to Cleveland's passing attack.

Cameron impressed in 2013 with an 80-catch, seven-touchdown season, but injuries slowed him greatly last year.

Signing Cameron to a long-term deal could be risky given his small sample size of success, but if he hits the market March 10, there will surely be a team willing to take a chance.
