Detroit Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch says he's feels great and is looking forward to next season, though he concedes he doesn't know for certain he'll be back with the Lions.

"I haven't heard anything about what's going on, my agent hasn't heard anything," Tulloch said in an interview on SiriusXM NFL Radio. "We're just preparing to report, April 20th, accordingly to the mail we've received for the offseason program. It's out of my control. I've just got to train hard, work hard and be ready to hit the field running next season."

There are rumors the Lions will cut ties with the 30-year-old veteran and his $5.5-million salary in order to spend money on more pressing needs.

Tulloch spent most of the 2014 season on IR after tearing his ACL celebrating a defensive stop. He underwent surgery in October and says his rehab has exceeded expectations.

"I'm way ahead of schedule and I feel great," Tulloch said. "I was telling a friend of mine yesterday, it's crazy how you feel stronger than you did previously, before the surgery. (I'm) just training every day and working hard with my trainers. I feel great, I'm just looking forward to the season."
