The Chiefs have released Fasano, ESPN's Adam Teicher reports.
Analysis:
Fasano, who finished the 2014 season with 25 catches on 37 targets for 226 yards and four touchdowns, should catch on elsewhere as a depth tight end, but probably the most significant aspect of his release from a fantasy perspective is that it should lead to added opportunities in the Chiefs' offense for the promising Travis Kelce.
