Every Friday, theScore's NFL editors will bring you a roundup of everything you need to know from around the division with the AFC East Notebook.

New England Patriots

McCourty's status up in the air. As standout safety Devin McCourty is set to hit the free-agent market, he's unsure if he'll be back in New England for the 2015 season.

Revis contract a realistic goal. As the offseason gets underway, the Patriots' No. 1 priority will be to work out a long-term deal with Darrelle Revis. CSN New England's Tom E. Curran breaks down why the contract, as expensive as it may be, is something the team can handle.

Could Bush be a fit? With Shane Vereen set to become a free agent, the Patriots may need to pursue a running back to take his place. As ESPN's Mike Reiss suggests, Reggie Bush would be an interesting fit for New England's offense in a pass-catching role similar to that of Vereen.

Buffalo Bills

Spiller hoping to return. While C.J. Spiller is certain to generate some interest as an unrestricted free agent, the 27-year-old is hoping to remain in Buffalo next season.

Searcy among Bills' key free agents. Bills safety Da'Norris Searcy is one of several impact players set to hit free agency in the coming weeks. Though Jerry Hughes will likely be prioritized, Matthew Fairburn of syracuse.com explains that Searcy may be the most important player of the group.

Bills not pursuing Bradford. With the Bills in need of a quarterback to compete with EJ Manuel, the team has been linked to several players around the league of late. Sam Bradford was one such name, but it appears the Rams quarterback is not on the Bills' radar at this point.

Miami Dolphins

Dolphins looking at trade options for Mike Wallace. Wide receiver Mike Wallace could be on the move after just two years in Miami, as the team is reportedly exploring its options with the mercurial pass catcher on the trade market.

Clay expected to re-sign. Though Charles Clay is certain to draw some interest on the open market, the expectation continues to be that the tight end will return to the Dolphins in 2015.

Linebacker among several offseason needs. The Dolphins have several areas of the roster to address heading into free agency and the NFL Draft, but settling the situation at linebacker is among the most pressing.

New York Jets

Jets set to spend in free agency. The Jets will have plenty of salary cap space at their disposal this offseason and it's a virtual certainty that they'll make the most of it. By rule, the organization will need to approach the salary cap maximum over the next two seasons to reach its four-year spending mark.

Harvin's contract discussions await. With Percy Harvin set to make $10.5 million in 2015, the Jets will have a decision to make on his status heading into the offseason. According to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, the two sides are set to discuss a revised contract.

Idzik joins Jaguars. After being fired as the Jets' general manager, John Idzik has reportedly landed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a salary cap consultant.
