Report: Chiefs likely to ask Mike DeVito to take pay cut

Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Mike DeVito may be hitting the open market.

DeVito missed 15 games last season after tearing his Achilles and will likely be asked to take a pay cut to stay with the Chiefs, according to NFL Media's Conor Orr.

The 30-year-old is due $4 million in 2015, but Orr speculates that he may decide to test free agency if he feels like he could get the same amount from other teams.

DeVito has 231 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 97 career games.
