The Oakland Raiders are reportedly targeting Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb in free agency, according to ESPN's Bill Williamson.
Cobb is slated to become a free agent after the best campaign of his young career. Oakland needs a No. 1 wide receiver and is armed with nearly $50 million in cap space, according to Spotrac.
The fourth-year pro caught 91 passes for 1,287 yards and 12 touchdowns last year.
On Feb. 16, ESPN's Rob Demovsky reported that Cobb is seeking $9 million per year.
It's rare for a 24-year-old wide receiver of Cobb's caliber to hit the open market, and he'll be highly sought after by a number of teams if he does.
