Chargers owner Dean Spanos meets with San Diego mayor about new stadium

On the heels of the San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders announcing they had plans to build a joint stadium in Carson, Calif., Chargers owner Dean Spanos met with San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer to further talks about keeping the team in the city. 

Despite the plans for a potential move, both San Diego and Oakland noted they would continue to try and find a solution in their respective cities by the end of the year. 

Perhaps the realistic possibility that the Chargers could move will have the mayor and company accelerate their efforts to reach a deal for a new stadium.
