Matt Forte wants to retire a Bear, seeks commitment from team

If Matt Forte had things his way, he would finish his career with the Chicago Bears.

Forte tweeted out his intentions Saturday, but added that the organization needs to want the same thing. 

His tweet was in response to rumors that the Bears are exploring trade options in regards to the running back. 

Chicago would be wise to extend Forte, who is heading into the final year of his deal, at least in the short term. With Jay Cutler struggling to find consistency, Forte was a rock in Chicago's offense in 2014. 

The elusive back ran for more than 1,000 yards and had 102 catches.
