NFC South Notebook: Panthers mum on Williams' future; Saints looking for leaders

Carolina Panthers

Panthers raise ticket prices. Carolina has raised ticket prices throughout Bank of America Stadium for the second consecutive year, with lower-level seats between the 35-yard lines seeing the biggest increase at $30 each. 

Gettleman mum on Williams' future. Panthers general manager Dave Gettleman declined to comment Thursday on whether running back DeAngelo Williams will be back with the team next season.

Wilks promoted to assistant head coach. Steve Wilks was promoted from secondary/passing defense coordinator to assistant head coach Monday. 

New Orleans Saints

Saints looking for leaders. The Saints are looking to improve their leadership this offseason both internally and through the addition of new players.

No plans to rework Brees's contract. Drew Brees carries a cap hit of $26.4 million in 2015, but Saints head coach Sean Payton says the team has no plans to rework the quarterback's contract.

Galette hit with civil lawsuit. A woman has filed a civil lawsuit against Saints linebacker Junior Galette, alleging years of sexual, physical and mental abuse. 

Atlanta Falcons

Falcons want Julio Jones for long haul. The Falcons have yet to begin contract talks with Julio Jones, but general manager Thomas Dimitroff wants to ensure the wide receiver remains in Atlanta for years to come.

High hopes for Freeman. New Falcons head coach Dan Quinn said Thursday that he's expecting big things from 2014 fourth-round pick Devonta Freeman next season.

How much is Atlanta willing to spend on pass rushers? It's no secret that the Falcons need to improve their pass rush, but the big question is how much they're willing to spend to do so. ESPN's Vaughn McClure looks at some of the options available.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Glennon still a part of Bucs' future. The Bucs haven't wavered from their belief that Mike Glennon is the quarterback of the future in Tampa Bay.

Lovie Smith likes Winston. The Bucs head coach said that based on the knowledge he has right now, he wouldn't hesitate to use the No. 1 overall pick on quarterback Jameis Winston
